Common Q&A

Why does IDLCPA need sponsors?

IDLCPA has 1 foundational task: monitoring legislative activity by employing a Government Relations Representative to keep and ear out for us on PA’s Capitol Hill. The way we raise funds to keep this specialist on hand is by hosting fundraising events for design community engagement, encouraging ID student and NCIDQ student preparedness, and advocating for professional development via legislative literacy.

Any support we get from national organizations (such as IIDA and ASID) does not cover this annual cost and we are a completely volunteer organization.

If I’m a rep, dealer, vendor, etc, how does this benefit me?

Please check out our full range of benefits for the 4 levels of sponsorship on our website but the primary benefit is getting your name at events and getting face time with designers. Each level comes with a package of tickets to be used at each seasonal event in your region or across the state depending on your operational coverage. You can use these tickets to attend the event yourself and, depending on the level, bring designers with you.

If I am part of a firm, how does this benefit me?

If your firm is dedicated to bolstering Interior Design culture in your company and/or committed to a standard of excellence for interior designers, then support of IDLCPA through sponsorship is in-line with those goals.

Interior Design Legislative Coalition of Pennsylvania (IDLCPA) is a not-for-profit organization committed to advancing the interior design profession through licensing and regulation.
